Since I decided I wanted to work from home I discovered that time management can be a real problem for some people working online, me included. I found myself just wanting to hang out with friends and family, and just have a blast. The problem of course is that for some funny reason I just can’t seem to make any money just hanging out with the people I care about. For that reason I am always on the lookout to find new and better ways to manage my time.
Now that this blog is all about making money online, hopefully I can save some of you some time by sharing the tools I have found to be useful to me and helped to keep everything running smoothly. The tools are all FREE (after all who has money to waste) I would encourage you to at least give them a try. Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained.

Remember The Milk
The first thing you need is a list and Remember The Milk is a website/program that that is extremely useful. I like to start a I’ve been a new to do list on a daily basis. It helps me to focus and helps to keep me from being so scatterbrained.
Remember The Milk is not just any old to do list. It’s one that you can access from almost anywhere. I can add items to my to do list on the website, or, email, or twitter, and a number of different sources. And the best part . . . when I add it on one, it automatically added to all. I can get on my computer and see my to-do list, or if I’m in the car I can open up my The Remember The Milk App on my iphone (there is a charge for the Pro service you need on the Iphone to access it).
If I log into my Gmail account, guess what, the list is right there on the side of my email. It is a great way to integrate your to do list and be able to make it accessible from almost anywhere.
Google Reader
With everything that’s changing in Internet Marketing, sometimes it’s near impossible to keep up. Fortunately, there is a huge company called Google that has an RSS reader which makes it easier to keep up with what’s going on by getting numerous RSS feeds.
This is the symbol you want to look for . You will find it all over the web. All you have to do is click on that icon and add it to your Google Reader. This way you will keep updated on all the blogs you like to follow. It can be such a time saver to have them all in one place.
Google Docs
I know another Google application. They have some awesome FREE tools. Google docs is one of them, it is extremely helpful when it comes to collaborating with others. If I’m working with others I need to share information with them, documents or spreadsheets I do it with Google docs. I use spreadsheets to keep track of what’s going on in my business and if I need to share that information Google docs‘ is the answer. People that I am collaborating with can update those spreadsheets and I can see the changes immediately.

Roboform
This is a real time saver. Out of all the marketing
tools that I’ve used, this one saves me the most time by far.
If you’re like me then you’ll have dozens of usernames
and passwords for a ton of sites. I have created so many
passwords it is impossible for me to remember them all anymore. I decided to save them all to a word document, but by the time I would get to my file and open it to find the needed password it really slowed me down
Roboform makes the whole process so much faster and easier, it will save all of
your login details inside a toolbar that sits at the top of
your browser. When you want to visit any site you just select it from the drop down
menu and then Roboform takes you to the the log in page and logs
you in.
This is a really saves me a lot of time. If you have several different logins you are going to love this.

Stumbleupon Toolbar
Need more traffic (don’t we all), then you need to
download the Stumbleupon Toolbar today. As you surf you
simply hit a little “thumbs up” icon on the toolbar, and the site
gets added to your profile as one you like.
Each stumble brings a little burst of traffic to any site, but the
best part is when you build a network of friends and
others start stumbling your sites on a regular basis.
Like all the social networking sites, the traffic is not necessarily the best
quality, but if you’re going to use one social networking site to drive
traffic then make it Stumbleupon.
Zamzar
Zamzar is a delightful free online tool that allows you to convert files
from one format to another, without the need to download bulky
software.
It supports a large variety of different formats, and I love it when I need to
convert something to a PDF fast, or when I want to change a gif  image into a jpeg.

Gimp
Whatever you do online you usually will need to have some kind of graphics editor.
I have found that Gimp has been more than able to get what I need to do done.
It’s completely free of charge, and has more than enough functions
for most internet marketers. Unless you want to spend big bucks on a graphics
program Gimp will be a good substitute.

With hundreds if not thousands of webhosting companies on the internet it can be almost impossible to find the webhosting company best suited to your needs. You need to find a host that not only provides all the services you will need for your business, but one that will also do it at a price that is reasonable. You want your hosting company to be able to provide you with reports for such things as, amount of traffic, the source of the traffic, which pages your visitors are visiting most often and the bounce rate just to name a few .

A webhost will charge you a fee that ranges anywhere from $5.00 to $50 per month depending on the services you require. In most cases you can pay on a monthly or yearly basis. I would plan to pay about $300 to $500 a year for a good hosting plan.

Try to avoid free web hosting services, because you may experience more than the usual amount of down time, as well as have very little storage and email accounts.

Try to look towards the future to determine what your needs will a year or even 2 year from now and make sure that the hosting service you choose will be able to accommodate those needs in the future. When estimating future growth be sure they have the bandwidth capability so your customers will not be waiting to view your information.

Two very important things to look for when you’re searching for a webhosting company are:

1. Customer Service, you absolutely must have great customer service should you run into any difficulties either setting up your site or after it is set up and you are trying to take care of your customers/clients. Call them in the middle of the night and see what kind of response you get and how well they can answer your questions.

2. You are going to want to be sure that they are financially sound. You sure don’t want to get all set up and a few months later discover they are going out of business

There a quite a few fine webhosting companies out there but I recommend Hostgator as they are who I use and I have found their customer service next to none the industry. I can’t say enough about how well I have been treated everytime I have contacted them for help.

In my previous articles I have focused on Method 1 which is the way you want to start with Freebie Trading. In this article I would like to focus more on what you need to do to get started on Method 2.

First of all before moving to Method 2, I suggest that you have done at least 5 to 8 trades in Method 1. This is the least amount of sites I recommend you do before starting on Method 2 as you will need the experience to teach others this business, and to accumulate some funds in your paypal to pay your referrals, and you want a least this many sites to have to offer new Freebie Traders. This should also give you a decent TR rating (Trader Rating) to begin so new traders will trust that you know what you are doing and are good to work with. I personally greened on 12 sites before I started Method 2. Hopefully your trader has mentored you on the best sites to have greened on from the start. I would suggest you have sites that are:

1. Repeatable Sites (meaning you will be able to keep sending new referrals to them and cashing out without ever having to green on that site yourself again )
2. 1 referral cashout sites, (which means you can cash out for as little as 1 referral) This keeps money in your paypal to pay your referrals
3. Good support sites, (In another words if you have a problem they are quick to help you resolve it, and when you put in an order for your prize they issue your prize in a reasonable amount of time)

Some mentors recommend doing Referral to Referral trades before starting Method 2, but I feel that there is too much scamming going on in the referral to referral trades for someone that does not have a lot of experience and doesn’t know what to look out for. In my opinion it is usually better to do these type of trades after you have a lot of experience and you just want to trade to acquire a particular site. This is a decision best made by you and your mentor.

One of the more important things you are going to want to do when moving to Method 2 is to create your Signaturel

you are going to want to post,post,post,by helping others,and answering questions,

Trade Thread. This is your chance to attract them.

A short summary of who you are and your goals in this business, and what the benefits of working with you are.

The sites you have to offer. (you don’t need to list them all, especially if you have a lot. It would be better to just mention you have many more and to please inquire if there is a particular site they are looking for.

How to contact you.

How you will pay. Will you be paying them on Green or on Approval (A. Paying on Green means as soon as the trader has completed the requirement of the site)or (B. Paying on approval which means after you acquire the needed amount of referrals for your prize and cash out}.

Do not sign up or access any sites from a public place or even your
workplace. If you access your site from a place that someone else accessed a site from, your accounts can be put on hold.

This is a legitimate industry with measures in place to detect fraud.
If you violate any of the terms or rules, your account WILL be put on hold. So lets try to be honest in all that we’re doing.

Before you start any site you will want to read their Terms of Service and the same goes before doing any of the offers on the site. Always read the Terms of Service. You will also want to have a spread sheet or notepad to keep track of the offers you do and the terms of those offers.

   Click Delete Cookies and then click on Delete Files.
3. Now click on the Privacy tab. Move the slide bar
   to Accept All Cookies and Uncheck the Block Pop ups
   box. Then click OK at the bottom of the window.
   You have now cleared your browser cache and cookies,
   enabled all cookies, and disabled your pop-up blocker.
   If you have any other pop-up blockers and cookies
   blockers, you will need to disable those as well
4. Close all open IE windows, and repeat steps 2 and 3,
   just to double-check that everything is correct and cleared.

Doing Offers

Below are complete instructions for getting completing your first site.

This is the MAIN problem regarding not getting credit.
If you have not cleared your cookies and you have clicked
the offer elsewhere you will get credit there instead.
2: ALWAYS use Internet Explorer or Firefox.
Other browsers have known issues  with crediting.
3:BEFORE YOU LOGIN.
Make sure your cookies are on the lowest security setting: this accepts them all.
4: DISABLE ANY
antivirus, spyware, firewalls, or ad checking software before
logging in. A lot of people don’t realize that these programs
can either interfere with the cookies  that make an offer track,or they can block offer tracking.
5:WAIT
on the confirmation page for 5 to 10 minutes to make sure
EVERYTHING loads. Many times the crediting aspect of the
sale takes  place on the confirmation page of your order,
so if you x out too quickly  you WON’T get credit.

Tip:Offers do not always credit when stated. Instant is not always instant,it can be as long as 3 to 7 days,so give it time, if in doubt check with the person or mentor you are working with.

Two Methods to Make Money with Freebie Trading

In the first method you are getting paid to complete offers. You will be referred by an individual to complete offers at a certain freebie site. And when you complete those offers you will get paid by the individual. Method 1 is where most freebie traders start and it is very important to your success when you move on to Method 2. It is where you learn all the things you need to know to do Method 2, this is where you get the experience you will need to be a success.

In the second method you are getting paid directly by the freebie sites for every referral you send to the site that completes the offers on that site. In terms of long time success this is the method you want to get to, because you can repeat this method over and over without some of the limitations of method1.  One of those limitations is you can only do an offer once, you can never do that same offer over again. With the second method you can continually send referrals and get paid over and over again from the same site.

Freebie forums are a very good place to get referrals because they have ten of thousands of members and these members are actually looking to complete offers, making it easy for the average person to earn between $500 and $2,000.00 per month

Choosing Who to Trade With

This is important because this is who will be guiding you through the trading process and even beyond. So you will want to pick someone that you think you can get along with and that you can learn from. Forums provide several ways for you to find out about a trader before entering into a trade with them. On most forums you can view pictures that the trader is sharing with the other forum members by checking out the albums in their profile and you can also read their profile and view their statistics. You can also see their feedback for completed trades on the forum. Everyone has their own level of expertise so make sure to take ALL things into consideration when picking someone to trade with. Most forums also have a thread called a trophy thread (or something similar) where you can see who is getting paid and how often. This can give you an idea of who is making the most money, and may be a to guide your to success. After checking those things out you will want to go to a thread called Paying for Referral (or something similar) and read the trade threads of the members wanting to pay you to complete referrals for them. After checking all things out you should have a good idea who you would like to trade with.

Who NOT to trade with

Be careful not to get involved with a scammer. Although the forums do their best to eliminate scammers they are always trying to find a way to get your money. Spamming is not allowed on the forums so do NOT message any person requesting for them to do your sites without their written consent. If someone contacts you (sends you a private message) wanting to trade with you and you have not requested information regarding a trade from them DO NOT TRADE WITH THEM and report them to a forum Moderator.

After You Have Picked Your Mentor (the person you want to trade with) pick a site from the ones offered in their thread, and or from the ones they suggest would be best for you to start with. Visit the sites offered and decide which one you feel you can complete. You can also view the sites Terms of Service and make sure you are able to do it. . Typically the rules are simple.

Tips for Success in completing sites

• Only sign up for things that interest you.
• Don’t try any offer more then once.
• Don’t cancel your service early.
• Only one account is allowed per household.

Always sign up with your own accurate information. Pretending to be someone else or using false information will get you banned from the entire industry.
